Account Information: Phone number, name, and profile details provided during registration via phone-based authentication (Firebase Authentication).

Location Data: Real-time GPS location during active rides, pickup and drop-off addresses, and route information. Location is used for ride matching, navigation, fare calculation, and safety features.

Driver Information: CNIC number, driving license details, vehicle registration, document uploads, and vehicle type (bike, rickshaw, or loader).

Ride Data: Trip history, fare amounts, payment method, ratings, and feedback.

Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage, crash reports, and performance analytics to improve our Services.

Communications: Messages sent through in-app support channels and correspondence with our team.

Rawon integrates with trusted third-party services:

Firebase (Google): Phone authentication, push notifications (FCM), and app analytics.

Analytics Providers: Anonymous usage analytics to understand how our Services are used and identify areas for improvement.

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We only share information necessary for them to perform their services on our behalf.

Location data is central to Rawon's Services. We collect location information when:

- You request or accept a ride - The app is open and you have granted location permissions - Background location is enabled for active trips (drivers)

You can control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location access will limit your ability to use ride-hailing features.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

- Other users: Drivers see pickup locations and rider first names; riders see driver names, vehicle details, and real-time location during active trips. - Service providers: Third parties that help us operate the platform (hosting, maps, authentication, notifications). - Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Rawon users and the public.

We require all third-party processors to handle data securely and only for specified purposes.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide Services. Trip records may be retained for legal, tax, and dispute resolution purposes. You may request account deletion, after which we will remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure token-based authentication (JWT), parameterized database queries, and access controls. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
